TERMS OF THE COMPETITION
ELIGIBILITY, DIVISIONS & FIELD SIZE
- Open Division (All Ages): Male amateur golfers with a USGA Handicap Index of 8.4 or less.
- Senior Division (50+): Male amateur golfers who are at least 50 years old as of May 12 with a USGA Handicap Index of 12.0 or less.
ENTRIES, DEADLINE, AND REFUND POLICY
- Entries: An entry must be submitted online with payment prior to the deadline. Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason.
- Entry Fee: $90. This includes all green fees and prize pool. *NOTE* Cart fees are only included in Friday's round.
- Deadline: Entries must be received prior to the deadline (5PM EST on Monday, May 12, 2023). Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of reason.
- Refund Policy: The entry fee, less a $20 service fee, will be refunded if a player withdraws 24 hours prior to the start of the event.
FORMAT & FIELD SIZE
- Format: This is a match play competition, with an 18-hole stroke play qualifying round to determine the top-16 players (8 for senior division). Ties for the last qualifying spots and medalists will be broken using the USGA's method of matching scorecards.
- Field Size: 80 players. The first 75 entries will be assured a place in the field of 80. The balance of the field will be filled by committee selection. A minimum of 20 spots will be reserved for the Senior Division

- Open Division (All Ages): Black Tees
- Senior Division (50+): White Tees
CAPITAL DISTRICT GOLFER OF THE YEAR COUNTING EVENT
This is a counting event for the 2023 Capital District Golfer of the Year (official name pending).
WAGR COUNTING EVENT
This is a counting event for the World Amateur Golf Ranking system.
WINNER EXEMPTION - 100TH NYS AMATEUR
The winner of the open division earns an exemption to play in the 100th NYS Amateur Championship at Wykagyl Country Club on August 7-9, 2023.
RULES
All play will be governed by the USGA Rules of Golf.

- Sunday, May 14 // Men - Finals // Senior - Finals // Tee times starting at 12:00pm
PAIRINGS
The pairings will be posted/emailed to players on Wednesday, May 10 by 12pm. Pairing requests will not be accommodated.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
All players and guests are invited to attend the tournament luncheon on Friday, May 12.
GOLF CARTS
Golf carts are mandatory for all rounds. Golf cart rental fee is included in the entry fee only for Friday's round. Payment for carts for all subsequent rounds is $20 per day and must be paid in the pro shop.
RANGE
The use of the driving range is included in the entry fee.
PRIZES
There are awards for the medalist and top finishers in each division.
